Encore exotic mission

Hey just got back into destiny 2 today kinda stopped after the final shape raid and saw lots of people with this cool exotic apperently form the encore exotic mission but I have no idea how to unlock the mission or get the exotic

real bad news on that was encore was last weeks so its at end of rotator list. so it will be a 6ish weeks before it comes back

god dammit well guess leave lots of time to get my light level up and all and I guess I could do what ever else there in rotation I owned everything up until that raid so probably have a lot of exotic I need now

You can play encore whenever you want in the portal. No idea what this guy is telling you.

it's in the portal, u just have to get an A rating at the end of the mission to get the exotic

I'd recommend doing it on normal a few times just to get the hang of it first
