Just play Portal
But it's too late in any case, in a few days next DLC will drop and power will be reset

Activities featured in the current event give more drops than the others, play those, you'll go higher faster

#

Also do all activities where you have bonus drops in, those bonus drops will match the base drops you would get in terms of light level so they're extra sources of light level

Bungie has confirmed that power is not getting reset so ignore whatever zer0 said
