Before finally having a set of different builds since Heresy i used Void hunter with Gyrfalcon a lot (and some powercrept builds too but whatever), and brought Tether to dungeons and my first raids to support my team in DPS

But now void hunter is dead, and people told me Tractor powercrept Tether, some that it always has been...

Did i play the game wrong for all of this time without learning anything? Been playing for 1 year and half

Do i deserve to quit the game despite void is not the only thing i use but looks like i'm bad anyway?

Destiny is the sort of game where every subclass or class has their ups and downs. If void hunter is dead then find something new. Maybe void hunter will be good again eventually. I still believe tether outperforms tractor tho.

Even if something isn’t meta, that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t play it

Plus you don’t need to limit yourself to only tether. Experiment around on the other subclasses or classes
