Just came back after a long hiatus. Is Armor 2.0 pretty much useless now or should I still hold on to it? Honestly the new system makes sense (sorta?) but..... grinding all new armor? Any help/tips would be appreciated. Not sure where to start.

keep any armor with more than 25 weapon and 30 super and viceversa

no that's just armor you should be keeping for dps focused builds
that specific combo is not available on armor unless you get a tier 5 drop with a specific tertiary stat (1/4 chance) and a specific tuning stat (1/6 on top of that)
and even then it will not be better than a piece with 26 of one and 30 of the other

oh that's armor you should be keeping from the old one
if you have that already then any weapon+super combo will always be worse than what you have already
unless you need a 3rd stat with that of course
like if for example you wanted to have super+weapon+grenade then you would need new armor
