Each weapon archetype gives a different amount of super energy based on how much damage you deal, so instead of having a static 1k damage= 1% super energy you have smgs with 200 damage=1% super, autos with 300 damage=1% super and so on
And with all the damage buffs you can apply to said smg, between target lock and the peacekeepers buff you can gain much more than if you were using a base smg

It's also a way of balancing different archetypes so that the higher base total damage options aren't automatically the best because higher damage=more supers

Both of those were nerfed when it comes to super energy gains when using 1 off supers such as golden gun (with celestial equipped) and thundercrash

Barrow would also not be as good as the raid smg with rewind+target lock because you can't keep neither target lock nor the peacekeepers buff active when using the taken seekers
And you would also be missing out on finality's auger which is just passive damage along with a lot of super gains on its own

assuming you don't have Finality's Auger when using the raid SMG with the correct roles, what's the next best option for the exotic slot?
I also have the godroll mind retrograde so that's covered, probably parasite?

Probably either the exotic from the current season pass (although you will have to manually reload it) or anarchy (which requires 240 spoils if you don't have it)

Yeah if you have mint then your best option is to either get anarchy OR be on tractor
