#Trying to Wrap my head around this endgame

What
the game has no endgame
?
I'm not allowed to post it here lol, not enough space to type it out
can't even send an image link either xd
Only endgame I can think of is older dungeons/raids are farmable so good time to complete exotic weapons collection. There is no other endgame I can think of
Basically, I'm trying to understand when to change what I'm doing throughout the leveling process
right now I'm lvl 275 ish? my basic idea is, start doing the raid around 350-ish, start doing the raid weekly from that point, whilst doing loads of portal in between
just not sure when to do the pinnacle activities in the portal, or when to do the conquests in the seasonal Hub
I think I do the pinnacle stuff around 500 power? maybe? I'm not sure, I'm aware it's a different loot table and it gives more power than drops from Fireteam/Solo Ops I think? and also it gives higher tier gear than my current base? maybe?
I have no idea what the incentive of doing conquests actually is besides the title in the seasonal hub, isn't it literally just the same as pinnacle ops since conquests are now farmable
also is Keplar ever worth it at 450 power for the tier 5 drops over portal activities or the raid?
Also, at what point does the Pinnacle Ops Farm replace the Portal solo/fireteam ops farm? I'm guessing at higher power for more power gain possibly? if pinnacle ops do give more power than other activities? not sure
There are very few, if any, activities which require power 200+
Any raids/dungeons are power capped so any additional power won't make a difference, combatants will be the same power as you on normal (-20 on master)
You can do pinnacle activities when you want. You can customise activities to balance combatant power and grade/rewards. Absolutely no reason to keep them for later
275 to 500 is a very very long road. You'll likely grind several days worth gameplay to reach there, better try activities you want to along the way
Conquests give better loot on 1st completion, are quite touch (esp GMs and ultimate) and are needed to advance guardian ranks. After 1st completion, they're similar to regular activities
Kepler has some decent weapons and there is a loot cave which can be farmed super quick at 450+ for T5 rewards (every 2 min or so)
Solo ops, fireteam, pinnacle and crucible are all in parallel, they don't replace each other, just different ways to play and level up, solo ops and fireteam ops have shared loot pool, pinnacle and crucible have their own loot pools
Some fireteam ops and pinnacle give more drops compared to solo ops but they also take more time to complete
Are you new to the game?
Pretty new yeah
Thanks for all the clarity 🙏 , a lot of it makes sense now
Also for the raid is 350 a good place to start? If I want a chance a tier 5 and I want to do 3 feat? That seems to be the baseline for what people are looking to do
Im a returning player but I haven’t played in so long
So everything feels fresh to me, although my god the portal grind is so boring
I just mix up my builds as much as possible and only do bonus loot stuff that’s it
Yeah I’m playing destiny until the servers shutdown 😅
