Hi, was wondering which raids and dungeons are still relevant? I left during lightfall and wanted to come back to try Destiny 2 out again. I know there's Tier 5 loot but are the only relevant activities, ones that drop those?

haven't really seen anyone use older raid loot, even loot from VoG which was reprised right before edge of fate

vog loot is still extremely strong

hezen is the best RL in the game, once the bugs with sturm and swords get patched itll remain the best dps weapon

Right now you get 1 chance per character per week for all dungeons/raids. Recent article from Bungie mentioned they plan to make everything farmable as early as next Tuesday reset

Tiered loot is only available in portal (random collection of old activities) and content released during current season (kepler planet, desert perpetual raid). Higher tier is gatekept behind higher power level which comes from grinding portal activities

as of this current moment, are there any dungeons that drop tier 5 loot?

seems my priorities right now are just the Desert raid until these changes roll out in the future, also do the other raids drop powerful loot, like in terms of progressing power from 200 to 450+?

Only desert perpetual

All other dungeons/raids drop older non-tiered gear at 200

Solo ops in portal happens to be fastest way to gain power though Bungie is steadily trying to make fireteam/pinnacle ops more efficient

I see, what other sources drop tiered loot besides the desert perpetual raid? nightfall grand master content? Trials of Osiris? Iron banner?
