Eager Edge Sword

Just curious on what is the best way to get a sword with the perk eager edge. My power is currently 156 if that maters at all. I don't have many friends who play this game so something that I can do solo would be preferable

Only ones obtainable as of now are the halo style swords from dares of eternity, which are also craftable so once you get 1 pattern you can just make the sword, and the slammer sword from zavala

On Tuesday the heavy metal event will drop (lasts 7 days) and will bring another eager edge sword, more specifically a wave frame sword with eager edge

It might not allow for skating as easily as the other options but it will be the only one allowed in "new gear only" activities such as conquests or any activity with the avant garde modifier

Thank you so I just play dares of eternity till I get it then craft it to try and get the right roll? Also where do I craft it at. If you couldn’t tell I’m still relatively new

You can craft it at the enclave, in savathun's throne world, before you go farm dares make sure you've unlocked crafting otherwise you won't be getting any patterns

Honestly tho, just wait for heavy metal so you can get an eager sword that is usable anywhere and that grants bonus score in portal activities

Focus on getting your light level as high as you can before heavy metal starts

Getting to 300 light will let you get tier 4 loot from the event (tier 5 if you get shinies)

how do i check that i have unlocked crafting I feel like i did the quest for it a while back did they change how you unlock it when they reset everyones power to 1 and reset guardian rank. Also do you need to unlock crafting each time for a new character or just once?

Just go to the enclave and see if you can interact with it

If you can then you have unlock crafting

Quest progress is not tied to light level and guardian rank in any way shape or form

You do need to unlock crafting on each character sadly

But it's very early into the campaign so you don't have to do the entirety of witch queen
