To get to B+ halfway I have to run at 450 combatant power level while another friend of mine who is 410+ gets A at 430/440 (cant remember exactly)

Even after I put on all new gear I get A at 490. What am I supposed to do?

Right now any drop above your current light level is gated behind rng

Having a high level clan increases the odds a lil bit but no official nunbers

Focus on getting the score prediction to at least midway through B+ and then go as fast as you can while doing the side objectives

I think I'm just going to wait till ash and iron. After grinding so much to get to 400 only to realize that I need to grind double while having much harder combatants just isnt doing it for me. Very demotivated to do anything in this game anymore.

There is little to no incentive to getting A after 400. B+ (or maybe B) gets you same power T4 gear with 5% of them being prime T5 (more if you're in a clan level4)

Nah, just throw on no starting ammo, brawn, a bane, and a 20 pt modifier, no positives. I’m 425 and it’s as bad as people make it out to be xD

Strange. I just checked and expected reward package with B grade shows T4 gear drop, can't share screenshot here

At 430 I can run 410 combatant power and still get B projection (probably will get B+ with bonus score). Using non-Bungie approved exotic with rest of new gear
