This just started happening a few minutes ago after finishing one of the weekly mythic mission runs, my game crashed and after verifying the integrity of the game and relaunching it, it insta crashes right after.

someone did mention that this is related to the bushido cloak for hunters and so I went to the destiny item manager and swaped it for another cloak peice but I am still unable to launch the game regardless.

5 hours later im still getting hit by this issue
i even tried swapping ALL my EoF armor and equipped my older armor peices and the game still crashes before i hit the title screen. i feel so lost wtf

did you by any chance have the bushido cloak equipped on your character? or just any of the samurai armor set from EoF?
