How to prepare for EOF?

New DLC will make ALL of the gear we farmed for 10 years USELESS (weapons, armor, builds, etc.), and will bring a total reset for the game...

How do i prepare for this so i don't get screwed forever in game forever bc i can't keep up?

gear won't be totally useless like you say it will be. gear we currently have will be put into low-mid tier of weapons/armor once EOF drops, so you should still be able to use the gear you have currently.
