prep advice for EOF

looking to seriously take on the contest raid so ant prep advice is much appreciated, all 3 characters built & all meta weapons, currently bounty prepping & finishing catalysts, anything else?

Other than preprating some armor keeping in mind how stats are gonna get converted when the new expansion drops and mentally preparing yourself to spend multiple hours trying to figure out day 1 mechanics there ain't much more

Expect every encounter to be on the level of unintuitive mechanics as lockset from sundered doctrine where trial and error of every single dumb idea can and will be your best friend

Taking a break from destiny is the best prep for destiny. People frequently get locked in the mentality of "I can do any of the existing raids in destiny, therefor I can do any new raid in destiny" and that's just not true.

Doing other things/ playing other games and then come back a week before the new dlc drop with a fresh mind is top tier prep. Also, and this is the most important, having a team as dedicated as you.

yeah im fully prepared mentally, i know full damn well it aint gonna just be like 5 hours lol😭

thats a good point too, i think i’ll get prepped then take a week or two break before thr dlc drops

bounties, get as many weekly's you can do between now and end then fill rest with daily's from the planets

that will give you artifact mostly unlocked right off bat

keep them uncollected but completed? then claim once the season starts?

generally but optimal is get in with a bot that has max shared rank to turn in

since only around 5 weeks left can get most weekly's done dreaming city has 6 acendent that rotate weekly, europa has 3 that rotate

you can get around level 19-21ish day 1

which is around 9ish of artfact perks unlocked maybe 10

o don't turn in til you have seasonal artifact unlocked

only 1 char needs to go it since its account wide

Bungie just wrote in their most recent twab that they recommend not saving bounties

So save them with that in mind, if you do

I personally wouldnt bother saving bounties anymore

Pathfinder + seasonal triumphs give enough xp

it’s just to make sure i unlock all the artifact perks for the contest raid, are you able to save pathfinders and seasonal triumphs for the next season or do they disappear?

im pretty sure they reset weekly but i think eos drops before weekly reset

maybe not

or something like that

but i mean, you can easily get the 50 whatever levels by spamming pvp matches or speedrunning strikes

pathfinders do reset weekly so can't save them

i think final artifact unlock is around 35

least that is what it was unless they changed it, never really paid much mind to it lately

I think eof drops on a thursday so if weekly is still tuesday you could save up on wednesday

I dont think it matters that much
