I have been trying to solo prophecy on eternity but every time i get to the final encounter there's like an 90% chance that when i collect 5 of the either dark or light motes nothing happens and i don't get the max mote, the buff just disappears and i can't complete the encounter at all.

Happened with me on hunter. Got a random advice on reddit to not dodge while collecting the motes and it worked for me. Not saying this is the solution but no harm in trying

Seriously, people still sticking with hunter which was released a decade back when destiny has released so many better and more interesting classes over the years. Horrible!
