#Frustrations with hunter survivability

I realize that we have high dr builds and invis, but beyond those nothing actually help you recover that's consistent and built into the hunter kit.

Invis is a great for master raids and solo gms where you can either crutch on a teammate to wait for regen or can safely sit in the back without worrying about a timer or wipe mechanic.

But in solo dungeons or dps phases without a well it can be extremely difficult to stay alive without red bars to kill to activate things like devour or to make and pick up orbs (which is suicide when your getting chunked by a boss or beamed by master/grandmaster adds.)

For any hunters out there that complete hard end game content like solo dungeons or solo gms what do you do when an encounter or situation doesn't offer a way to get kill based regen or it is too unsafe to do so?

Play cover and back off when needed

and situations that have little to no cover?

the vespers boss or some gm rooms (ie sunless cell)

All dungeon arenas have enough cover to avoid enemy attacks

You also need to focus on dodging enemy attacks

different attacks can be almost completely avoid by dodging and strafing a certain way

is there a resource for that at all, i was having a ton of trouble staying alive in the sunless cell boss arena in gms and vespers to me seems like im running more than im doing damage

Velocity baton with attrition orbs and then facet of purpose with solar super. Works only with bosses you can get close to but it works decent.

I find the lack of build in recovery features a little infuriating

The recovery stat is your friend then

thats doesnt really help mid dps without taking myself out of the fight

I got it done with one Cuirass Of The F Star tcrasher and one Geomags Chaos Reacher, we had me run tcrash as well initially but wiped due to low safety factor so I threw on Helm Of Saint 14, Bastion aspect, bubble and Edge Of Action then we got the clear because we played safer around those

Just don’t bring any rockets, machine guns with enhanced Rolling Storm will do

i dont play anything but hunter and im mostly having trouble with vespers

maybe it's time to diversify, you're missing out on 2/3 of the game by locking yourself to hunter

ive tried them i just cant really get into them, its not really bottle necking if im playing the part of the game i enjoy

U can always go back to solar hunter and just run healing nade

It is mostly a thing of playing cover

#

Theres a few terrain pieces in vespers u can use then after the first wipe mechanic u can hide in the doorway of the place u dunk in

Also ascension on pris with the strand clones can help takr aggro a lot

only issue i have with solar hunter is you sacrifice your whole kit to play off healing nade and your super, combo blow i can see but requires kills to upkeep , same with devour

i have been playing around with a hoil cyrterachne build thats nice just really need a way to heal

dr only really helps till your at 1 hp
