how to fix burnout

im a newlight in destiny with only around 520 hours in d2 and ive been slowly burning out, does anyone know how to help combat the burnout? all help would be appreciated.

New light with 520 hours is crazy, but if you want a fix to burnout just take a break from the game

Unironically if you don't feel pleasure/fun playing just stop, take a 1 week break, come back, see how you feel

Fomo, when I first started during WQ I remember grinding out the xur quest every weekend otherwise I wouldn't get an exotic cipher for an extra week.

That burnt me out super fast and I quit for several weeks. Now I just play the game and if it stops being fun alt + f4 and play something else.

If game fun: Yippee, play game.
If game unfun / mentally draining: Log out

ive been having a lot of fun with stuff like helldivers, deep rock galactic, and various singeplayer games

you can either take a break and reduce your playtime, or you can find a group of players(clan) you can vibe with and explore all aspects of the game

i have over 8k hours and ive never been burnt out, because ive been playing with a bunch of people i like

I mean you got at least 1 full clear of each (available) raid so that's already good, the clear times in some of them are kinda slow tho

Find things to do as a new light they’re plenty, get patterns, god rolls on weapons without patterns, god roll armor.

work on ur raid report/dungeon report, try low man raids, try “speed running” raids/dungeons even if it’s just with LFG strats

Find like minded people who are chasing the similar goals in game.

And if ur just simply burnt out from playing the game in general then it’s as simple as just don’t play

from someone who has like, 1800 hours and played since final shape released: when you're looking for stuff to do, make sure that you have a milestone plan

after each milestone (for me, usually figuring out tech for each encounter of solo flawless), take a break like everyone else said
