i have a mediocre pair of radiant dance machine and i was wondering if i shoud upgrade it into an artifice one, what does artifice do?

Artifice armor lets you add an additional +3 to a stat of your choosing. If +3 would get one of your stats the next tier, and you have the resources to spare, you may as well do it.
