Spire of the Watcher best weapon for first boss?

I haven't been doing dungeons and raids for quite a while and wanted to give Spire solo another shot, but remember that the bosses are starting to get pretty tanky with Spire. What are some of the best weapons to kill the first boss? Some advice on overall raid dps meta is also welcome by the way

one last question. I see the weapon mods have changed in final shape, what would be optimal now that boss damage is gone?

since you're swapping weapons either the one that gives handling (exclusive to crafted/enhanced weapons) or quick access sling
