if you want a surge matched weapon for dps, then maybe omniscient eye from GOS or the season of defiance/pale heart fusion

First and foremost bitter/sweet is better for that boss. But if you wanted you could run acasia’s dejection or a rocket sidearm
Good for getting rid of eyes. Or you could run tinashas and zaouli’s
Tian is good for killing the lantern guys and zaouli’s for eyes
You could run a rewind rounds pulse and try getting 2 supers in one phase

I ran it with a pyrogale titan, using dragons breath, the strand fusion from season of the wish, and calus' mini tool. I have only died on that encounter due to my half-broken keyboard, but never had issues surviving at all.

Part of the issue is dragon’s breath just not having a lot of dps.
It has good total damage but its dps is lacking

Bitter/sweet is very good for that boss
Its easy to get and pretty competetive for that boss
Get a bait and switch envious arsenal roll

Ok. I would try and make an effort to grind out this season’s content. You should get the tonic associated with hgl and then farm final boss of shattered throne
It takes 2 minutes or less to kill and has a chance to drop the hgl

I just used forbearance and dragons breath i got frustrated a few times cause i didnt wait for the rocket to finish blowing up 😂

Cata for dbreath is kinda big

Cata makes autoreload and damage ramp up faster
So its kinda vital to using it
In the future you could try supremacy with kt. Thats what i used to use a few seasons back

Micro is not not bad since the crit spot is hard to miss
Depending on the build you can get super back 2x in one rotation and use the extra dmg from using a super

imagine u just have to hold left click and do 2x the dmg compared to micro
