Raid Farming

How exactly does farming work especially when it’s the raid in the weekly rotation? Can I do the same check points over and over on the same character?

And should I use my deep sight harmonizers on raid weapons. (I’ve used them on Zaulis Bane and want to use the last one I have on commemoration lol)

not really, raid weapons have guaranteed ways of dropping as red borders+you can buy a red border at the end of each raid now

yes when the raid is the weekly featured you can do the same checkpoint over and over and get loot

for commemoration you have both an alternative (hammerhead) and an easy encounter to farm (taniks) so i wouldn't spend my harmonizers on it

unless you've got more harmonizers than you can have in your inventory i would save harmonizers for extremely annoying guns to get (like the ones from season 18, can only get from xur)

you should at minimum do every boss cp every week for the guaranteed red border from the vendor

at minimum you'll get a commemoration in 5 weeks. Good thing about commemoration is it also drops from taniks itsellf

you should also get the free spoils every week because those have a chance at giving red borders

I have been doing this ever since final shape release and 2 weeks ago I got my final red border for a few raids, it takes a while but the weapons I wanted I bought from the vendor first duh

I managed to get two red border commemorations. I made the unwise choice of spending my spoils on the chest and got a helmet instead 😭😭😭

Im guessing I can’t get anymore red borders from Tanika if I’ve done them on all 3 characters now

If DSC isn't the weekly raid then yeah you gotta wait till next reset, if DSC is the weekly raid any drop from any encounter (even on repeated clears) can be a red border

(small correction, drops can always be red borders, it's RNG, what I meant is that you can get red borders on every taniks kill)

Oh shoot! That piece of vital information I needed then. Ty I had guessed otherwise cause I cleared it at least two more times and got armor I guess that’s my good rng running out lol

Btw don't throw away all the raid armor, keep at least a class item, there's a mod that generates heavy ammo bricks after picking up 10 orbs if you don't have an augment

Every raid has its mods, some are bad (most of the RoN mods for example) some are good (Release Recover, also from RoN)

If you get armor without horrible stats you might as well keep 1 piece per slot per raid

Ahhh I see. Yeah some of the mods didn’t seem that impressive but I’ll keep on the lookout for them. Yeah I try to hoard the decent stat rolls at least

As long as you can get to 100 resil honestly it's worth sacrificing some stats for some raid mods

Especially if you ever get into some lowman raids like GoS, RoN, VoG, Vow

You'll learn to appreciate how strong some mods can be

yes try and keep one class item of each raid at least, I don't know if you should keep every armor (I do) because it is a lot of raids

Raid mods are mostly trash, only ones I can think of are SE, garden and vow

Lw gos vog vow ron are pretty good kf and ce arsomewhat usefull with raidmods costing no energy theres no reason not keep the armour

Especially if you do it like galaxy does with an entire set for 3 chars. That's 15 slots per raid

135 slots for something he'll use once every blue moon and not even greatly benefit off of

I do all raid exepet se activly as I lowman and I need like 30 guns for them all esp leg primarys are so bad in the current state if the game that there hardly worth keeping

Yeah if you exclusively use meta weapons you can just keep them on the characters. I technically don't need a vault

30 guns per slot is more than enough to cover all situations and all elements
