what are the best non exotic primary ammo weapons in the kinetic slot

just noticed that when I play exotic heavy and special ammo energy weapon I dont have nothing good to run with it any reccomendations I should get?

not me and I need generally good pve weapons not ad clear

when i run forb then i need sum good to back it up but I dont need more adclear

And especially legendary primary weapons in the kinetic slot are not the best. No splash perks like incen or voltshot.

Wave frames are generally not crazy anymore anyways. They scale very badly in high end content in comparison to alternatives. We got velocity baton with attrition orbs, or sth like aberrant action.

Coming from an endgame only player, the only weapons I've touched in the last few seasons were Midnight coup, submission, fatebringer, and patron of lost causes

Wardens law with the LP hunter build but that's nerfed and not as good anymore

Most weapons have been special ammo in the kinetic slot as there isn't many good options anymore

Energy slot is infinitely better with it's choices

Yeah it's decent for gms and long distance encounters. Rapid hit kinetic tremors or frenzy

I personally am obsessed with 4burst pulses that have rapid hit. Imo the best perk for a pulse rifle

The problem is there are no primary weapons for damage outside of niche exotic primaries with exotic pieces and just straight up Outbreak Perfected. I'll give a few weapons for champs, ad clear, and gms (long range later).

They wants legendary options man, these are all exotics.

The only legendary damage options I can think of are Warden's Law (FTTC + Vorpal) and Maahes (Rapid Hit + Frenzy) and are only damage options when used with Lucky Pants exotic on hunter.

The Peacekeepers buff on titan is nice, but it's kind of niche because smgs are in a rough spot for damage AND have no range.

If you’re running forb you have to run double special

But area denial > forb at this point

Run lost signal and a special sidearm or run velocity baton and the call or the new special ammo sidearm when it comes out

Honestly tho legendary heavies are usually better than exotic heavies

So its probably pretty rare to find yourself using exotic heavies

Because I said primary weapons in general aren't for damage other than Outbreak (and some niche exotic combos like huckleberry with peacekeepers and malfeasance or last word with lucky pants).

Cause if you run it by itself you're wasting a special slot for a low damage ad clear weapon. He is saying if you want to run such an option, use double special (not that you have to, but it technically is optimal).

Some frames do more dps. For damage just best frame with good 3rd column perk (varies depending on weapon and even weapon archetype) and Frenzy.

There is only 1 good STL primary and it’s used basically almost strictly on witness/lowman raid content. The rest of the good STL weapons are trace rifles in the energy slot

Yes the other perks are useless

Definitely keep that in mind as a new player you have lot to improve on

Dragons breath/ anarchy are probably mistakes but useable I guess, Ghorn / parasite are amazing exotic heavy weapons when used in the right setting. Ghorn for ad clear, parasite for like a prismatic titan to nuke champs/mini boss in GMs
