I've tried various things and cannot get any orbs to drop. I was wondering if anyone knew of this or a work around to still generate orbs with glaives.

glaive melee is equivalent to an uncharged melee in terms of orbing, aka no orbing

Yes but I was wondering if since I used the actual weapon to replace my quick melee if I could generate orbs with the kenetic combo

this is one of the many many reasons why glaives suck

i dont even think you can use stuff like reaper

your only options are orb gen fragments like echo of harvest

where they proc off ANY kill

since, again, glaive melees are basically just uncharged melees (despite overriding your charged melee)
