Dual destiny first clock puzzle glitch?

For the first clock puzzle, you shoot the nodes that lit up for each player, right?

both players call out the nodes that are lit, the person with the buff shoots the common nodes between both players. for example, if both guardians share 2 3 4 5, they shoot those nodes

Yeah we did that, but it didn't work

As soon as I shot the first one we shared, it failed
