artifice armor dropped from crucible but no artifice slot?

i got ossuary boots from my comp rewards but there isn't an artifice slot in them, its just the 3 regular armor mod slots

i have a gyazo pic of it i cant send it here

if it didn't drop with the slot then it's not artifice
