So how do kinetic weapons work with Surges?

If i use Microcosm in a raid or dungeon for example, will i always be dealing -35% damage?

If your subclass/super matches the surge that day it will also buff kinetic weapons

I thought that too, but in dungeons or raids the Overcharged Weapons modifier isn't active like in Nightfalls. So Kinetics just don't have any benefit to them?

Basically if overcharged weapon is active, any kinetic weapon will be buffed if your subclass/super matches surge afaik

So basically anywhere except raids/dungeons

That seems like such a massive oversight on Bungies part, that makes weapons like Izzy, Witherhoard and Microcosm (Which is brand new) completely useless for DPS phases

Izi and wither will still be used since theyre basically best in slot for a slot that has nothing else to offer damage wise
