is there ANY factor that makes the artifact timer on the crota end raid go any faster?

get kills and it charges faster, but not that much faster

also what counts as kill, is it the artifact holder or the fireteam? do fireteam have to be close to artifact guy?

Kills charge it faster thats is a fact

Kills by anybody in the whole team charges it quicker, doesn't matter how close they are to the chalice. Higher tier enemies charge it even quicker.

This has been my experience as well, haven't gotten the chance to experiment with distance yet though

killing higher tier enemies in the witch boss is how you progress the encounter... maybe progressing the encounter is actually what makes the artifact go faster?

When you repeatedly swap weapons to the point you're not even seeing the gun pop up, it seems to actually build the chalice faster. Keyword being seems, I've no evidence to give that its actually making it faster
