I didn't play LightFall, I am coming back. Do I need to complete thr Lightfall campaign?

for lore yes, but its not a requiremnt but id reccomend

Lightfall can be summed up as "we found the thing the witness needs to go into the Traveler and we have to protect it, but we have no idea what it does or is"

Lore wise Lightfall is pretty important, but if you're not a big fan of that, just complete the campaign anyway so you can unlock Strand really.
