if i finished the campaign on X Character, do i have to do the campaign on Y Character to unlock the

I finished story on warlock, want to unlock prismatic on titan. do i have to do the story to unlock the missions that reward the different grenades etc?

Yes, other characters have to do campaigns + after missions. Fragments are account-wide tho.
