#Where do I begin buildcrafting for Crucible?

Title. I like buildcrafting but due to my inexperience with the gamemode I don't know what would be useful in it or not, since I'm too PvE brained.

I'm trying to make one for Titan specifically (since Titan has become brainrot for me due to Consecration Titan in PvE being extremely fun)

Look up void titan with over shield. It’s cringe but is super good and will teach you how to play comp and trials

I'm not asking for a build to be made for me, but more of "how do I make one myself", because, again, PvE brained, IDK how to tackle PvP buildcrafting

take a look at the collections for exotic armors and weapons

find an armor piece u like, figure out what its niche is, and build something around it

ex. wormgod caress? its melee damage. so youre gonna want a melee focused build, aka strand titan or solar titan

What if I wanted to do a build around, say, Last Word or DMT to cowboy it up?
Then again, I don't think I could pull those weapons off.

Thing is I due to my minimal exposure in Crucible I don't know what armor exotics are good in Crucible.
Like, is OEM still good?

If it's Overshields count for Void shenanigans I would be pretty excited to use that

For pvp there's only a few good exotic armours that a are valid for comp, rest are just 6v6 shenanigans. I'd recommend playing trials and inspecting peopl

I personally took a quick 20 second video using my phone going thru other players armour mods and subclass and later I go thru the videos and theory craft

Especially people who pop off. They usually have a build they use for months years even and it's consistent for them hell it'll work for anyone if they practice

But if ur really new just slap on stuff that helps in pvp, holster loader anti flinch handling mobility mods etc. All of that is good armour wise

I found a p good OEM in my vault which has like 90 stat total

OEM is definitely one of the better exotics for pvp

#

But it's only good after you win your duel and it's really good, especially for 3v3 where it's easy to get picks randomly and that's a full heal shield and dmg bonus to get easier picks

Btw for mods you really just want stuff on your helmet boot and arm to help with your weapon like holsters loaders aim mods etc. it's kinda oogaa booga

My starting on pvp titan was citans ramparts. Shooting thru my barrier really was fun

Nerfed to hell tho, half the HP half the duration of barricade lmao also just walk thru the shield to shoot XD it really only made sense to my blueberry mindset

I also user alpha lupi before but it's not that good ngl, titan-warlock wanna be exotic

Dune marchers will never be bad, free dmg to titan brain gameplay works less in trials but still reworks sometimes and it's benefiting you for doing what you'd normally do

Good luck with the rolls, I still don't even have good spikes on my 68 rolls for my pvp exotics

Some exotics that grant ae help too, but titans don't have good jumps for in air gunfights, hunters and warlocks would rather be shooting from space
