i have a problem, the update won't complete and says "missing files" on steam, tried to update 3 time, all 40gb bit every time it reaches the mark it says ''missing files''

i uninstalled the game and redownloaded it again but the same problem persist, anyone know what is the issue ?

  1. Open the folder where steam is installed
  2. Open the "logs" folder
  3. Open the content_log.txt file

  1. Search for "failed". I found a entry that said
    "Failed updating depot 275851 while reading chunk "e8603a78c0d8887c8e729037abcb1c99cf28be0f" (Device Corrupt) (Corrupt game files)

  1. Open the file location listed in your failed entry and delete the listed file.
  2. Try updating again.
