I've tried lowest settings and have a 3080 on my razer labtop. Never happened on old pc but i feel like a 3080 should support it fine.

In orbit it's fine except when i open store tab it can drop but that's always happened. It usually happens in everything but sometimes it's weird and doesn't happen at all
usually i experience the worst drops in raids, nightfalls etc. anything with bigger maps however i could literally just be standing still before an encounter starts and it'll drop to like 30
but idk it's weird to me cuz i could be in a dps phase, spamming grenades, rockets and supers and only drop like 10ish fps but like i said could just be standing somewhere or walking and it'll tank my fps
One more thing i'll mention, i was doing some stuff with task manger comparing gpu usage on my brothers desktop to my labtop and noticed he only uses about 20% gpu while i use about anywhere from 60-90
and when i was on task manger fps drops always occur when gpu spikes to 99/100% usage

well they are both nvidia 3080's however mine is a labtop gpu not a desktop so i could see why it would be slightly worse but i don't see it being that drastic

yea i was looking on reddit though everyone was saying 75-80 celcius can be standard for labtops and it's around what i hit on other games
I mean i could invest in a little prop up thing to get better air flow i guess but idk its just odd that i only experience it on this game
even games that use high gpu like rainbow six siege don't ever spike my gpu obiously it's a smaller game so should take less but still

yes only destiny at least for the fps drops. I still get like 60-70% gpu usage on some games but always at least 144 fps constantly maybe dropping 10-15 frames very occasionally
