With everything nerfed into the ground everytime I revisit the game, Idk what is good anymore.

What's good in 6man activities?
What's best in 3man?
What's best solo?

Highly dependent on activity and the team you're running with.

But

Rockets have the best DPS output rn with Exotics like crafted Whisper coming in close second thanks to perks like Field Prep now.

I have heard multiple times that rockets aren't good unless you have gallahorn in the team, is that for 3 or 6man

Def not the strongest but there’s still lots of good options rn for dmg

the problem is different encounters need different things i.e.
GOTD 1st boss, lament dps heavy add clear
GOTD 2nd boss, linears or div and tlord

WR 1st boss rockets +damage supers
WR2nd boss, retrofit escapade
WR3rd boss, rockets + damages supers

Prophecy 1st boss, lament
prophecy 2nd boss, linears

it is VERY depenant on the situation, like ATRAX-1 in DSC is about the only encounter where Parasite is a must, everywhere else it is fun but gimmiky

in the same order as u: rockets/strand titan, rockets, swords, strand titan, rockets, rockets, parasite, rockets

or just use a gl for most of them

machine guns, including thunderlord are by far the worst heavy dps option in the game

also how is parasite gimmiky

good for caretaker, atraks, morgeth and a bunch of dungeon bosses

true, but are also easy to use while teaching/being taught, not optimal but easy/fun

also hard dissagree on rockets for GOTD 2nd boss, she moves way too much for it to be effective for 95% of users

pressing left click isnt fun, and rockets and gls arent hard to use either

and yes rockets and GL's aren't hard to use, but bosses like Simmumah and Ir-yut are annoying to use non precision weapons on cause they move so much
