@jolly shell He can do the seasonal challenges for bright dust, but honestly, Destiny isn't really a free to play game.

I mean it is in a literal sense

But to get the best gear and weapons requires you to buy the expansions and sometimes even the season pass.

Even the best DPS rocket in the game right now (Apex Predator) is locked behind owning the Forsaken Pack since it comes from the Last Wish raid

ik its not a f2p, but rn they add a bunch of stuff for f2p to kinda dip their toes in. So i'm just introducing him to it so that he eventually will consider buying

Yeah that's a good start. Also get him to work on his Guardian Rank. As much as I hate to not have an actual tutorial, it's a good guide for what he should be doing next

in collection under equipment scroll down to some old ghost shell section there is "last city shell" ghost shell that can be upgraded to lvl 10 and sued normally its cost glimmer

collection has lot of hidden gems that rare people go and explore

or get one for 10 legendary shards "kill-tracker shell" from shaxx but have to do pvp quest

Ik there's one for leviathan
