the "experience" you are talking about is grinding the same activities week by week and getting frustrated by it not dropping in the slots you need

level cap is only 1810 so only 6 levels which is not to bad and as said above not a huge loss

Ok heres the thing i bought game in season of wish have 800hrs and my 2 chars were still 1809 just couldnt get the final 1810 so yeah exp is not going anywhere
