DPS Options 4 Raids/Dungeons

I returned back to Destiny fresh last season, finished it and took a break but came back a week ago. I know Apex was the best rocket/option but never cared to grind for it and just want some DPS options I can use in LFG

Im just talking strictly weapons so class dont matter

uh gimmie a sec to type this out

best rockets are probably cold comfort (ghost of the deep, envious/bns) and apex (last wish, recon/bns)

best special gl is wilderflight (frenzy/alh)

best fusion is cartesian (vorpal/lfg)

izanagi is still good, titans on strand can use the navigator trace to do dps with grapple melee

cataphract and wendigo are decent rn

Apex B&S swap is still king of weapon DPS

Izzi swaps and apex predator and very few people can outdps me.

Grapple melee with a tangle point has high DPS and shreds bosses if you have multiple people doing it at once

Just get good with the damage rotation and knowing how to effectively swap between izzi and recon rocket

Grapple strand is gimmicky and imo only worth it in like 3 specific speedrun or solo only settings

Edge transit is going to outclass any gl, it's getting released April 9

Tbh just use apex predator, paired with somthing like supremecy or izzi for more total (it's got the highest raw but gets outclassed in total)

And then wait and see how edge transit performs

I don't think edge will change the meta for best dps weapons, it is basically the same thing as Cataphract GL3, just a different element type. In terms of ease of getting, hell it will easier to get edge.

I would be fine with LFG LW but not tryna deal with ppl complaining abt DPS

spreadsheet math showed real world application would melt every single boss in less than 15 seconds

Wrong
It can get double perks. It has both envious and cascade in first column.
Hypothetically you can start on envious and backup mag, get env x1 and x2, swap to cascade + bns + boss spec for dps

And then do izi 140 sniper gl rotation

Aegis tested the damage of this rotation and with 6 people doing this it kills every single boss in the game without needing damage supers, except warpriest (only a difference of 500k)

Its basically like shooting off a needlestorm every time you shoot off 140 sniper x2.

The only thing that beats it rn is hyper optimized rocket dumping with radiant dance machines

And thats only for dps

In terms of total it is literally the best

Izi x4 > sniper x1 > gl x9 > sniper x2 > gl x9 > sniper x2 > gl x6 > boss is dead

And the best part is it doesnt need a specific exotic for auto reload, like dshadow, rdms or rain of fire
Meaning it can be done on all classes

You could also swap out izi for lumina to give 35% damage buff to yourself and allies at the cost of about 200-300k damage

If you don't want to run izzi or double sniper would 3 shots with supremecy with kinetic tremors swap to an energy primary to proc bns
