Trying to do my weeklies for powerful gear but gambit says complete ritual activities and i dont know what that means. I havent played in around a year.

"Ritual" essentially means playlist activities. They changed it to let you play Vanguard, Gambit, or Crucible and still get progress.

Each of those three will contribute to the same objective. You can get up to three exotic engrams from that by playing nine activities over the course of a week.
