My In-Game text chat is just gone. Nothing I try works to bring it up, changing keybinds, social settings, nothing. Anyone else have this bug and know a fix for it?

Nope still haven't found a fix. Let me know if you end up finding a solution. Bungie acknowledged this bug on consoles so might be same thing.

@nova palm It's an active problem that Bungie is aware of but there's no solution that's been presented yet and no patch to fix it.
