General best rolls - light.gg or DIM thumbs up perks?

For general use, should I check light.gg or DIM's thumbs up on popular perks? They don't seem to agree, is there a better resource?

there is good wishlists available on the Internet to copy and insert into dim. try finding some from popular names

Good wishlist but dim default and light.gg can be some of the worst places to get info

Honestly? just use the gun for a bit and see if you like it

Would love to do that with every gun lol, but that's way too time consuming considering the number of drops, for rolls, I rather just trust the science. And I'll get a feel for the archetype.

Light.gg goes off of popularity not if something is good, just learn what's good on what yourself

Rolls are based on how you play and enjoy the game

Don't use either of them

Neither are reliable if you want to go for the best of the best rolls, join a server like Lowman and just ask what's good to go for, it also has a "shopping list" of what guns are good and what perks to go for on them

I just looked over it and everything in that checklist is applicable and meta for things even outside of lowmans

i would disagree
light.gg just lists the popular rolls. and the popular roll is not always the best roll

meanwhile DIM picks thumbs ups based off of rolls recommended by content creators or lists, including aegis' speedrunning shopping list, weapons for lowmanning, and more

and im pretty sure you can pick which ones you want to show and which ones you dont want to show

thats because theyre curated rolls by ALL content creators pretty much

its only when you make your own list that it narrows it down and gives rolls from people that you trust

like the wishlist on my nessa's oblation reads: '' Speedrunner's Shopping List: Double slug (good for: all S21 raids and dungeons)''

same goes for forb

if you have the godroll, theres a pretty good chance they have a thumbs up next to it, like apex for me

and again, you can pick your wish list rolls

or which lists to pull wish list rolls from
