#Didn't finish the Heir Apparent Catalyst last year, can't seem to get the quest anymore

I started the catalyst quest last year but couldn't be bothered to finish it, as I assumed, like all other catalyst quests, that I could just finish it later.

Well when GG ended it took the quest away, this year me an my friends did the intro quest and they got the quest even though they already had the gun AND the catalyst, yet I didn't on any of my 3 characters

I've checked the Exotic Quest archive so I'm not sure what to do, I've waited a whole year to do this and I'm worried I've been Bungo'd again.
