Yea absolutely. Frenzy is a 30% dmg buff as long as you're getting shot at (or shooting something) and Rewind reloads your mag up to half the shots you hit (so a full 64 = 32 bullets reloaded)

@sick parcel Ricochet and Fullbore gives you the most range possible as well

Recon is terrible on primaries or things you’ll use like primaries (trace rifles, lmgs, etc) unless the mag%-per-kill ratio is exceptionally high (lmgs)

Frenzy is only 15% damage but it grants capped reload and capped handling which is why it’s good

If you want a “pure” damage perk you’d be better off with something like Adrenaline Junkie or Swashbuckler, although unlike frenzy those require kills

Vorpal is 20% on primaries, 15% on specials, and 10% on heavies

Doesn’t matter on primaries since you don’t use them for boss dps, it’s good for specials if they don’t have something like controlled burst or whatever

And on heavies it’s completely worthless, either there’s a better perk or the gun just sucks because it doesn’t have damage perks

look, oomp, im gonna lay myself on the line to say this, but hyena isnt using recon correctly

reconstruction is a hybrid between overflow and alh, but it takes a really long time to activate if the mag is small

it refills 10% of mag capacity every 3.5 seconds after not shooting for 3.5 seconds, up to 200% magazine capacity (enhanced numbers, unenhanced its 4 seconds)

if youre using a weapon with a mag size signifigantly larger than 10, it will take upwards of 30 seconds to load the entire mag from empty, and a full minute to reach max overflow

primaries in endgame pve are primarily used when the conservation of special ammo is of a concern.

most of the time, youd rather use an exotic primary but when running gally, tractor, or another exotic weapon for whatever reason its useful to have an option that doesnt expend ability energy or ammo

in that case, you want something thats easily spammable, deals decent damage to minors and majors, and (if needed) can hit things you need to hit accurately like for example symbols in VotD or the electric nodes in SotW

most people gravitate to smgs for their high sustained dps in most pve encounters, but when range is needed they often run scout rifles

Rewind rounds is better if you’re spamming with a big mag, recon is better if you’re shooting periodically with a smaller mag

And frenzy is a better overall perk on primaries than target lock because mag dumping into one target for a really long time is inefficient

its not optimal but there is like nothing else to stun with unless your team WANTS to be optimal and use cenotaph and rockets

then you can just stun overloads with rockets (specifically gally, but that doesn't actually matter)

Rewind rounds frenzy would be the best roll for your rufus. sometimes people prefer demo over RR but generally it's worse
