For a new raider which raid has the best loot to go for for PVE and PVP?

Vow has the best wave frame and best linear
Dsc has the best slug as well as one of the best snipers as well as the best lmg in the game

Root has 2nd best gl overal and a decent trace rifle + linear

The other three raids either have only one ok weapon, or none

If theres any gun to farm from kf its zhaoli's
That said, its mainly for when you cant run sunshot.
So if you dont use your exotic slot anywhere else, then its not really necessary

heck i would argue its not even the best arc aggressive, which would go to sudden death (frenzy > vorpal, also rolls surrounded, also rolls threat detector, field prep, surplus, grave robber)

slugs have a way bigger mag compared to pellets and also include atleast one slug with reconstruction so you can keep shooting while your other shotty reloads

you dont have the same luxury with pellets

on the other hand, you could also just run a fusion and do similar total damage afaik

k i checked aegis spreadsheet and a surrounded aggressive shotgun sits at arround 1.8 mil total, while cartesian sits at around 1.5 mil

since mindbender cant get surrounded, and instead gets vorpal, thats a 1.15x instead of 1.4x

so yeah i think it would be around the same

since it would be 1,841,773/1.4 = 1315552
and 1315552 x 1.15 = 1512884

supremacy and succession are tied for best kinetic sniper, with each filling a slightly different role
if you already have apex, i still think its a good thing to go get a supremacy, it just wouldnt be your top priority

(do grind for it when lw is featured though as you get a metric ton of drops during that week)

if the raid is featured, and you need weapons from that raid, farm that raid

do this until you no longer need weapons from the raids 🙂

General rule of thumb, there isn’t a “best” raid, each raid drops some weapons that can be good, and others that are useless, so I would focus on that
