sppeaking overall verity's i'd say just make sure you have a solar weapon and you have at least one stack of the buff when you throw a grenade

verities is a situational type exotic.

In terms of usage.... i would say starfire is better. Only main use a lot of people have with veritities is fusion or healing nades which most people don't really need to fun anyways.

Veritys is a situation exotic that's mainly only used during certain raid encounters

It would probably just be better to use t steps
