If you type in "double special" in the search menu, my ask will come up from yesterday. there's some solid advice from toad, toxxic, and more than a few others

additionally, testing out a bit, i found wave frame grenade launchers to be fantastic on ammo efficiency along with trace rifles if you get the right perk setup

special ammo finder mods dont work for double special because they trigger off of primary weapon kills

with the except of solar weapons you can get headshots on

so the most reliable way to get special ammo to drop is the special ammo finisher mod on your class armor
