#anyone know a good secondary weapon?

Depends what you need it for
If you need more ad clear, forbearance (or any wave frame) is your best bet
If you need a bit more single target damage, you cant really go wrong with a fusion or a shotgun
I dont pvp alot but usually when i do i gravitate towards hc + shotty, and the best energy shotty currently is matador from grasp
wouldve said sunshot, but if you already run malfy, thats a no, so id have to agree with Toxxic, and say Forb
pvp definetly try getting a matador shotgun from the ogre boss in grasp of avarice. for pve id recommend a fusion rifle
Is there a easy way to get forbearance? Like chests or is it only final fight of raid
You can get it from the first chest (each char once) but i wouldnt count on it (its an option if you really dont want to raid)
I do but isn’t vow like one of the hardest?
I would recommend to do a rhulk cp once a week when its not farmable and buy a red border forbearance from the chest at the end
Its pretty easy its just knowing symbols for the most part
And then when its farmable, just do caretaker over and over again until your eyes start to bleed or until you get the crafting pattern for forb
(or until you get a good regular roll if you dont mind it not being crafted)
I run a fair bit of malefecence/lucky pants on stasis a fair bit, and harsh language is good just not forbearance level
The only "hard" encounter in vow for most people is exhibition, which you shouldnt bother farming anyway since it doesnt drop forbearance anyway
Entrance is easy, same with first encounter if you know symbols, on caretaker you can just opt for ad clear or stunning (since both of those are easy), and on rhulk you can just ad clear as well
The reason exhibition is the hardest is because everyone has to be involved in the mechanic. There is no "im ad clear" role
Cool, also is stasis hunter wanted or they prefer solar or something?
I just got sick of solar hunter
And is malefecence decent on enemies not taken?
Malph with its catalyst + lucky pants is comparable to most heavy weapons iirc. I'd put it in the "good enough" category where people wont complain about the build but something may be a bit better.
I’m just lookin at different things that arnt the boring meta atm
So in most content you could run just about anything within reason, its only when you get to master raids and GMs will you get called out on non meta before you have a chance to run and compare damage
This week was my first few gms wasn’t as hard as I thought tbh
And I’m new return so I don’t have many guns to choose from lol
Hardest part is double ogre room with the tank my knights and finding people who know to pass the orbs first 😂
Stasis hunter is mostly used as a mobility subclass for shatterskating
The subclass itself isnt that good
If youre sick of solar, try arc or void
Or if you want to shatterskate and go fast, run stasis
Ive seen success with it in content if using the stasis arms exotic. That damage reduction is no joke.
Tbh I just like it’s utility, especially this nightfall, just wish the super was abit better
Also what dungeon is best to run for artifice armour and how long does it normally take?
Grasp, depends on how long it takes you to get class item becuse thats the only one worth
If you get good rolls on artifice armor they're straight up better than armor you can get anywhere else.
Thing is that getting high stat artifice armor is obscenely rare
The overall value tends to be low because of the +3 mod and you can get like or better from seasonal engrams
with WAY less work, and with how many armor pieces needed for buildcrafting, Class + season is way to go
I mean that depends
I would argue for the above average player, farming a master boss takes about as much effort as farming twice the amount of seasonal activities to buy armor
And you can get seasonal engrams while farming for artifice armor
Especially grasp where the boss not only falls over, not only are the mechanics very simple, but you also get your super every time you pick up 10 engrams (which happens alot)
Id argue if this a player asking how to get artifice armor they arent farming for armor just yet, and seasonal engrams just kinda happen.
esp this season where you could get 4 different types of engrams for general play
Yes but focusing only on seasonal armor is a waste
Its better to have the amount of engrams increase in the background rather than farming for it
Your time would be better spent focusing on other stuff in the meantime, like farming for artifice armor or farming exotics or farming weapons
And then every once in a while going to the seasonal vendors to use all the engrams
I agree with you that seasonal engrams are by far the easiest source of high stat armor, but i also think it shouldnt be the main thing youre focusing on
I never said it was, only it makes more sense on a build to get a artiface class item, and use seasonal engrams to get the other high stat armor.
Yea I got a double 100 build can be triple if wasn’t for my exotic being bad mobility roll
Well bad stat distribution roll anyways
Think my next grind will be forbearance
Also is there any point doing other gm nightfalls not on the weekly rotation?
Its mainly there for people that have conqueror seal already to gild their conqueror seal
