You can get any exotic from legend and master lost sector.If u tryna get osmio then I would recommend doing vex incursions where u got a guaranteed drop of a exotic armor on the class you completed it

@royal yacht please don't listen to Matiik. It's not ANY exotic.

Lost Sector Exotics work on a rotator and you can only get certain armor pieces on certain days, for example one day it will only drop Helmet Exotics

The next day it'll be dropping only Leg Exotics

And Master Lost Sector drop chance is only like a 15% increase: From 1 in 5 > 1 in 3 (i.e. 22% > 33%)
Compared to Legend drop rates

In addition to the above, to even get an exotic to drop you need Platinum score by killing all Champions

BUT

If you get an Exotic from a Legend Sector, they work on a checklist, giving priority to Exotics you have never acquired previously.

So for example if you somehow manage to get every arm exotic to drop EXCEPT Osmio

Then your next Exotic armor piece from a Legend Sector (on an Arms day) will be guaranteed to be Osmio since it's the only one you've never acquired.

He is damn smart enough to read and he is prolly smarter that you that you can get any exotic as long as it the day that gives u the exact armor piece (head,hands chest legs)

And as shark said do NOT do master lost sector as they have sometime double the amount of champs but have only a 33% exotic armor drop chance which legend lost sectors have 25%

it is heavily weighted, but not a guarantee

you may still get a repeat of something you already have

No, it's weighted towards what you don't have in collections. Only after you've gotten everything from a category does it drop Exotics you've gotten before

VSF works the same way, because all I needed was a single piece of Titan, Warlock, and Hunter gear. Did three VSF and got the ones I was missing out of everything else

so yes LLS are weighted highly to something you don't have, but it isn't 100%

1. a bug
2. you simply rolled the high chance of getting something you didn't have, and got lucky enough to not see the low chance of getting something you already had

so you're right that it is weighted towards the ones you don't have, but you're wrong that it is 100%

If it was a chance, like you say it is, it would have happened to me too at least once, and it hasn't. I'm more than willing to bet your game bugged out, because the evidence isn't there for the 2nd explanation

Even if it was a chance, and somehow I'm wrong, you've only provided a single example to me to convince me of what your saying

I’ve thought the same way too, until I gotten a dupe exotic when I have others not yet unlocked from a master lost sector when farming out my legs on Titan.
That only happened to me once tho.

I highly believe it to be a bug, maybe the knockout failed on certain exotics (isn’t coded properly)

Becuz out of so many times, it only happened to me once
