Considering no other stasis swords have been made, I think it's kind of odd that Bungie wouldn't have made at least one significant one like they have for the other subclasses

and it'll be royally useless because swords are almost never used and the only point would be to surge match a subclass that dps dumps, which would more likely be solar/arc/strand

Why assume I didn't? I did. I just wish I didn't have to wait once a year to get a stasis sword when the black talon, lament, world line zero, and fine precipice exist.

Stasis has been around longer than strand. You'd figure a stasis sword that's more easily available could be acquired instead of a few weeks out of a year

Destiny is a game. I'm not playing the game because of your standards of viability. I'm playing it because it's fun. Swords are fun to me, and as such, I'm going to play swords
