Question for Lore Nuts

How do you use a weapon you like even when the lore makes you feel that you have to main something else?

edit: i love story over function, so I end up using current story weapons rather than older weapons, even though i prefer older ones

Ex: I love the lore behind the Wish-Keeper bow, and I want to make it work. However, my preferences are in other weapons.

make your own character lore and play off of that

or if you insist on sticking to ingame lore, you better get buildcrafting hard to make stuff work
