I have a memento on a lvl 30 weapon. Why does the shader say memento required?

Only one of the shaders work. The green scales. The others are locked. Are the shaders memento specific??

yes depending what memento it is, its tied to the shader. The green scales one would be the gambit memento meaning you can only equip that one
