No other alternative, unfortunately. I believe Beyond Light campaign and Shadowkeep campaign can be rushed within hours, Witch Queen and Lightfall will take longer tho.

Lightfall took a few hours, actual story is short. The problem is finding people to do it with in normal mode so you arent being as careful

Just run sunbracers and apex for literally everything
And for strand run necros or maybe karmsteins since u have infinite grapple melees
