Ascendancy is I'd say the best precision frame rocket. Meaning that if you want tracking without losing column 3/4 perks, sure. I ended up using it for my solo flawless GotD for that reason.

a lot of precision frame rockets are easily outdammaged by linears

if your considering solo gotd you should contemplate aim training or literally any other weapon to use because precision rockets won't kill solo in under 6 phases

i 4 phased using red herring with tracking

i tried both it and briars with surrounded, and red herring did infinitely more damage in my experience

The person who suggested it for solo gotd clearly has not solod gotd because with 3 surges assuming it never has to reload

it takes 10 phases

you would need to generate 72 heavy bricks

this isn't accounting for the time it takes to lock the rocket

15 rockets per min is cringe

Like besides new players opinions the answer to is ascendancy a good rocket the answer is no

It does like -15 percent dmg due to its frame type so just loses to all other rockets unless you need tracking for whatever reason

pick 1 of these 2 rockets and then Vow linar if you need one will do pretty much all boss damage
