For boss kills and encounters, only on the latest raid, i.e. Crota’s End, can they be farmed. Others will drop them once per character (or class?) per week. Possible that RoN I also Spoils-farmable but that would be due to a bug if so.

For secret chests, every raid except Garden, DSC, and Last Wish.
